Season Recap
The third season of Young Sheldon premiered September 26, 2019. The season contained 21 episodes, one fewer than originally planned as production was shut down early. The season finale aired Thursday, April 30, 2020.
CBS renewed Young Sheldon for a third season as part of a two-season deal in 2019, which takes the show through to its fourth season in 2020/21.
