Sheldon: Where are you going?
Mary: To the cemetery to visit your dad. [sighs] I don't suppose you want to join me?
Sheldon: He's not there.
Mary: I know he's not there, he's in heaven. Because he got baptized.
Sheldon: Hmm. Kudos on the rhetorical ambush. Although, if he's in heaven, why are you going to the cemetery? Ha, gotcha.
Mary: Sheldon, if you don't believe in baptism, what's the harm?
Sheldon: The harm? You're asking me to get in a big tub of un-chlorinated human filth.
Mary: Peg cleans it.
Sheldon: Does she?
Mary: Peg says she cleans it. And if that is what is stopping you, I will personally scrub it out.
Sheldon: Mother, I can't be a hypocrite. This ritual is just superstitious nonsense to make you feel better.
Mary: And you taking all your things to college isn't just to make you feel better?
Sheldon: [scoffs] You are on your game today.
Mary: That mean you'll get baptized?

Sheldon: Regardless, I'm not interested in making any more friends.
Mary: Oh, I don't think that's how you really feel.
Sheldon: It is. From now on, it's a hermit's life for me.
Mary: I bet, when you grow up, you will be surrounded by lots of smart, wonderful friends.
Sheldon: I can't see that happening.

Pastor Jeff: And now George's loving wife Mary would like to say a few words. Mary.
Mary: Thank you, Pastor Jeff. Um... [clears throat] I met George in high school. Well, I was in high school. He was an older man with a motorcycle. [light laughter] I'd like to tell you he caught my eye, but actually it was the motorcycle. [laughter] [voice breaking] I'm sorry, I can't... do this. I am... so angry. [sighs] George and I had our ups and downs, but we were finally in such a good place, and then he... left. [crying] He left all of us. I- How could you do that? [Meemaw stands up] I am so mad at him. I'm mad at God, I'm mad at myself for not trying harder while he was here. [Meemaw goes up to Mary] This wasn't supposed to happen. [Mary sobs] [Meemaw hugs Mary] [Georgie hugs a crying Missy]

Sheldon: Mom, when should I be expecting my testicles?
Woman: [turns around] What is wrong with him?
Mary: Nothing is wrong with him. Now turn around before I knock your lights out.
Sheldon: Hello.

Pastor Jeff: Okay, now our next baptism is for Sheldon Lee Cooper, our soon-to-be brother in Christ. And, personally, this is a big get for me.

Caltech Professor: You lost?
Sheldon: No. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.

[Adult Sheldon walks through his childhood home:]
Adult Sheldon: Eventually, my mom sold the house. My dad's chair was gone. My spot was gone. [sits down on couch] Where we ate together. But I can still remember it exactly the way it was the day I left for Caltech.
Missy: Hey.
[Young Sheldon turns around to face Missy]
Missy: What are you doing?
Sheldon: Taking it all in one last time, so I remember it when I'm older.
Missy: You gonna remember me?
Sheldon: I have an eidetic memory. I have no choice.
Missy: Ha.
