CBS has released the synopsis for the next episode of Young Sheldon, "Body Glitter and a Mall Safety Kit", which airs this Thursday, January 16.

Wallace Shawn (Dr. Sturgis), Wyatt McClure (Billy Sparks), Mckenna Grace (Paige) and Andrea Anders (Linda) guest star. Lea Thompson (Back to the Future, Caroline in the City) directed this episode.

Body Glitter and a Mall Safety Kit – Sheldon learns to listen when an emotional Paige (Mckenna Grace) struggles with her parents’ divorce. Also, George Sr. is furious when Georgie tries to buy his way out of chores, on YOUNG SHELDON, Thursday, Jan. 16 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Following this episode, Young Sheldon will be taking a week off with a rerun of "An Entrepreneurialist and a Swat on the Bottom" airing Thursday, January 23. The third season of Young Sheldon will continue January 30.

Following tomorrow's new episode of Young Sheldon, "Teenager Soup and a Little Ball of Fib", the show will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Young Sheldon's third season heads to U.K.

The third season of Young Sheldon will premiere in the U.K. next month, broadcaster E4 has announced.

Young Sheldon's third season premiere, "Quirky Eggheads and Texas Snow Globes", will air Thursday, October 10 at 20:30 on E4. In the episode, Mary worries about Sheldon's mental health after Dr. Sturgis has a breakdown. Meanwhile, Georgie learns he has a knack for sales.

Young Sheldon had its UK premiere on E4 in February 2018. The broadcaster was also the home of The Big Bang Theory for the show's entire twelve-year run.
