Craig T. Nelson returns as Dale. Ryan Phuong (Tam), Sarah Baker (Ms. Hutchins), Doc Farrow (Coach Wilkins) and Ava Allan (Jana) all reprise their roles in the episode.

“A Couple Bruised Ribs and a Cereal Box Ghost Detector” – When George Sr. accidentally lands the school librarian, Ms. Hutchins (Sarah Baker), in the hospital, the Cooper family must nurse her back to health. Young Sheldon will be taking a short break following this episode as CBS airs the NCAA March Madness tournament. The show will be pre-empted Thursday, March 19 and 26. The third season of Young Sheldon will return April 2.

The third season of Young Sheldon is taking a short break this week. A rerun of "The Sin of Greed and a Chimichanga from Chi-Chi's" airs this Thursday, February 27.

The third season of Young Sheldon will return to U.K. screens next month, E4 has announced. The channel aired the first ten episodes of the season last year.

Sheldon of course grows up to live in Pasadena and work at CalTech, as established on The Big Bang Theory.

CBS has announced the spring premieres of two Thursday night sitcoms which will air alongside Young Sheldon from Thursday, April 2.

Man with a Plan, starring Matt LeBlanc, will air directly after Young Sheldon in the 8:30/7:30c time period. The Friends actor's show is entering its fourth season.

The new sitcom Broke, which stars Jaime Camil (Jane the Virgin) and Pauley Perrette (NCIS), will air at 9:30/8:30c following Mom.

The current occupants of those time periods, The Unicorn and Carol's Second Act, will have concluded their first seasons by then.

Country music legend Reba McEntire will guest star in an upcoming episode of Young Sheldon, according to TVLine.com.

The singer and actress, whose eponymous sitcom ran for six seasons on The WB/The CW, will be playing the ex-wife of Craig T. Nelson's Coach Ballard. Nelson has appeared in four episodes as Dale, a little league coach who is dating Meemaw following her split with Dr. Sturgis.

McEntire's character will reportedly form an unlikely friendship with Meemaw in a February episode of the show.
