Young Sheldon to premiere in the U.K. this month

Young Sheldon will make its British debut later this month. Digital channel E4 will begin airing the show Thursday, February 22 at 8:30pm.

E4, which also has the rights to The Big Bang Theory, picked up the show last year after its highly-rated premiere in the United States. E4 will be airing Young Sheldon after new episodes of The Big Bang Theory's eleventh season, which return February 22 at 8pm on E4.

E4 has been home to The Big Bang Theory since 2008 after the network bought the U.K. rights in 2007, ahead of the show's stateside premiere. The channel recently announced that Subway UK and Ireland will be sponsoring both The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon on the network.
