CBS announces fall premiere dates
CBS has announced its fall season premiere dates for the 2024/25 season, including the series premiere of the new Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage.
The series premiere of Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage will air Thursday, October 17. The show is inheriting Young Sheldon's 8/7c time slot, which was also previously held by The Big Bang Theory. The new show will be followed by the fourth season of Ghosts at 8:30/7:30c, the new Kathy Bates drama series Matlock at 9/8c, and the second season of legal drama Elsbeth closing the night out at 10/9c.
Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage will follow Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas. Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones are returning as Mandy's parents, Jim and Audrey McAllister. Unlike Young Sheldon, Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage is a multi-camera sitcom filmed in front of an audience, like The Big Bang Theory.
At the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour last weekend, executive producer Steve Molaro revealed that Young Sheldon stars Zoe Perry (Mary), Raegan Revord (Missy) and Annie Potts (Meemaw) will guest apperances on Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage.
