CBS renews 'Georgie and Mandy' for third season

CBS has renewed Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, the Young Sheldon spin-off, for a third season to air in 2026/27.

The series premiered in 2024 following the conclusion of Young Sheldon’s seven-season run and stars Montana Jordan and Emily Osment as Georgie Cooper and Mandy McAllister. The show follows the newlyweds as they begin married life and raise their young child while living under Mandy’s parents’ roof.

Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage is currently in its second season and is the #1 comedy on television.

CBS also renewed nine other series for the 2026/27 season: Tracker, Matlock, Elsbeth, Fire Country, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, Survivor and The Amazing Race. The network had already renewed Boston Blue, Sheriff Country, FBI, and Ghosts, and has ordered two new series, Cupertino and Einstein.

The show airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS, occupying Young Sheldon’s former time slot. Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage is currently on winter hiatus and airing reruns, with new episodes set to return on Thursday, February 26.
