CBS announces fall premiere dates
CBS has announced its fall premiere dates for the upcoming 2019/20 season, including the return of Young Sheldon.
The third season of Young Sheldon will premiere Thursday, September 26 at the new time of 8/7c. The show is inheriting the time period vacated by The Big Bang Theory, which recently concluded its twelve-season run on CBS.
A new single-camera comedy, The Unicorn, starring Walton Goggins (Justified) will folow Young Sheldon on Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c.The seventh season of Mom, from Young Sheldon co-creator Chuck Lorre, will air at 9/8c. Carol's Second Act, a new multi-camera sitcom starring Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle), rounds out the comedy block at 9:30/8:30c. New drama series Evil finishes the night off at 10/9c.
Elsewhere on CBS's fall schedule, a new Chuck Lorre sitcom, Bob (Hearts) Abishola, starring recurring Young Sheldon guest star Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly), will air Mondays at 8:30/7:30c.
Young Sheldon returns Thursday, September 26 at 8/7c on CBS.
