CBS has issued the press release for the next episode of Young Sheldon, "A Race of Superhumans and a Letter to Alf", which will air Thursday, January 3.
Matt Hobby (Pastor Jeff), Sarah Baker (Ms. Hutchins), Ryan Phuong (Tam), and Isabel May (Veronica) reprise their roles in the episode.

Young Sheldon is taking a break during the Christmas and New Year holidays. A rerun of "Gluons, Guacamole, and the Color Purple" will air this Thursday, December 13. A rebroadcast of "A High-Pitched Buzz and Training Wheels" airs December 20 and there's a repeat of "A Rival Prodigy and Sir Isaac Neutron" on December 27.
