202 'A Rival Prodigy and Sir Isaac Neutron' Press Release

CBS has issued the press release for the second episode of the upcoming season of Young Sheldon. "A Rival Prodigy and Sir Isaac Neutron" will air Thursday, September 27 as the show moves back to its regular time period after its Monday, September 24 premiere.

Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride, Clueless) reprises his role as Dr. John Sturgis, Sheldon's idol and Meemaw's love interest, in the episode. Mckenne Grace (Crash & Bernstein, Genius) guest stars as Paige, Sheldon's intellectual rival.

A Rival Prodigy and Sir Isaac Neutron - When Dr. Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) bonds with Paige (Mckenna Grace), another 10-year-old genius, Sheldon's jealousy leads Meemaw to intervene. Also, Mary invites Paige's family over for a play date, on YOUNG SHELDON, Thursday, Sept. 27 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
